1. Join the Pets in The Pearl Online Challenge Sponsored by

How does it work?

• Click the Create a New Team button – you will be taken to a page where you will create and submit your pet's profile and photo.
• As soon your pet's donation page is posted you can contact everyone you know to ask their support for your pet's team. They can donate safely and easily online through your pet's own Team page!
• You will be able to check your team's progress throughout the campaign.

The top cat and the top dog who raise the most money in conjunction with this even wins a super prize, bragging rights, and will be publicly announced at the Pets in the Pearl event, July 19.

Everyone who helps their pet raise $100 or more gets a fun Pets in The Pearl t-shirt!

This is a great way to give cats a chance to participate in an outdoor fundraiser, events that are typically geared for dogs!

2. Donate to one of those hardworking teams

Wait until you see who all is working to earn money to benefit CAT and DoveLewis – and why! You can view the whole list of teams at once, or you can request teams by name, by location, and by breed.

Want to support all chocolate labs living in Hillsboro? Not a problem. Just click on the button to get started.

Proceeds from Pets in The Pearl will be divided equally between Cat Adoption Team and DoveLewis, both 501(c)(3) charitable organizations (Cat Adoption Team Tax ID: 20-0773189, DoveLewis Tax ID: 93-0621534). This means that all direct donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law, and you will receive a receipt with this information for your tax records.

3. Become an Event Sponsor

Last year's event was a resounding success: exhibitor booth space sold out, there were 500 participants, 100 volunteers, and more than 100 pet-friendly sponsors and non-profit groups.

Due to the popularity of last year’s event and the marketing efforts of the hosts, we are expecting an even larger turnout in 2008! 4. Attend the Event!

Guests and their pets will enjoy a pet mall full of merchandise, gifts and services, live entertainment, refreshments, raffle prizes, pet adoptions, vaccine and microchip clinics, animal experts, and more! And many are donating all or part of their proceeds to Pets in The Pearl – so by having a good time, you'll be helping a good cause!
